Inspired by the Willunga Farmers Market

garlicLike many food lovers, I enjoy shopping at food markets and farmers' markets.

So I was thrilled to recently visit the Willunga Farmers' Market, South Australia's oldest farmers' market as part of a Tasting Australia media trip. The market is located in the Fleurieu Peninsula, about 90 minutes from Adelaide.

Rather than just do a regular photo-essay type story on the market, I've picked some of my best photographs and then suggested recipes for Australian dishes you can make with the featured produce.

So do check out my Willunga Farmers' Market story for some cooking inspiration. Enjoy!

Baby its getting cold outside

Slow Cooked Beef Casserole

Although it's still technically Autumn, Australia (or the bit where I live) has become very cold all of a sudden.

We're switching on the heating in the morning, wearing uggboots around the house, and rugging up in winter coats.

Now while I love winter fashion I hate being cold and I'm someone who is always colder than everybody. It's very useful in summer but in winter you'll usually find me huddled by a heater trying to stay warm. Or shivering under three quilts.

Luckily, I have some great winter-warming recipes to share, starting with this Slow Cooked Beef Casserole. It's literally 10-15 minutes work in the morning and then dinner is cooked when you return home in evening.

Too easy. Enjoy!
